Namibia Geographical Information Technologies (NGIT) Close Corporation (Cc) is a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and surveying company aim for activities both on the home market (Namibia) and in Africa at large. Focuses are mainly to provide quality GIS services, mapping, spatial data collecting, analysis, capturing, processing, GIS research & education, surveying and GIS consultancy, and GIS technical assistance.


The use of GIS in Namibia is growing and recognized remarkably. In that sense, the NGIT Cc believes that GIS applications will grow, while GIS will be used to solve geographical problems and provide solutions in all required application. GIS allows us to analyze and understand spatial data and its impact in activities that contributes to development of our nations. There are also many other technologies that can be integrated into a GIS to provide meaningful and easy readable solutions for decision making purpose.
