Our Profile
Namibia Geographical Information Technologies is a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and was founded in April 2008 in order to provide desktop GIS mapping, spatial data capturing & processing, surveying, GIS research & education, training, databases and GIS consultancy services to the spatial industries. A total of 100% in business entities is owned by previously disadvantaged Namibian. Namibia Geographical Information Technologies is a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and was founded in April 2008 in order to provide desktop GIS mapping, spatial data capturing & processing, surveying, GIS research & education, training, databases and GIS consultancy services to the spatial industries. A total of 100% in business entities is owned by previously disadvantaged Namibian. The company was registered on the 29^th April 2008 (registration number CC/2008/1842) with the Ministry of Trade and Industry as a close corporation under the Close Corporation Act of 1988 (Section 12, 13, 14, 24, 27, 29, 47 and 60) under regulations 2, 3 and 13 of the Republic of Namibia.

Our Team
Mr. Lisho Christoh Mundia is the GIS Consultant – Founder & Owner of NGIT Cc. Lisho has been working with GIS, surveying and related GIS projects such as cartographic projects, land management, utilities, forestry, environmental science, geology, agriculture, urban & rural planning, solid waste management, revision projects, etc for many years. He has a Master of Science degree in GISc, with various qualifications in GIS, land management, land measuring, and urban land use management. His main area of interest and expertise are GISs in spatial planning, infrastructure management such as roads and electricity networks, research & education, ArcGIS model development, ArcSDE database management and implementation, embedding and customizations of GIS in organizations, spatial data management, surveying and metadata. In order to provide quality GIS and Geomatics services to its clients, NGIT Cc make use of GIS experts and land surveying professional on consultancy bases depending on the availability of projects.
